I have this quote that sits on my desk in my home office. Honestly, it belonged to my husband so I just assumed that a basketball coach from long ago, who turned into a motivational speaker, came up with that. 🙂

I read it every day. One day it got me thinking, “Who in the heck said this with enough impact that it now sits etched in a piece of marble sitting proudly on my desk?”

Well if you are thinking the same, here is the original quote:

“Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.”
~ Sir Winston Churchill

I guess that was too long of a quote for a marble plaque.

My point is this: I read this quote every… single… day… of my life. It spurs me on even when I’m feeling self doubt, it drives me inward when I don’t feel like writing, it gives me hope that tomorrow is a new day, it rings true for me in so many ways, but most especially when i think that there’s no place else that I would prefer to be than right here with you at this very moment typing this message.

I hope that you feel inspired to take this quote or write on of your own and place it somewhere that you will read it every.. single.. day and feel inspired in that you are an amazing human being with a life to live, go out and LIVE today!
